The Psychopedagogical Department supports each student’s wellbeing and learning process.
The Psychopedagogical Department is an essential part of the school. It is made up of psychologists, educators, and psychomotor specialists who support teaching and learning processes in a comprehensive way, recognizing the diversity of students’ paths, needs, and potential.
In this sense, both cognitive as well as emotional and social aspects that influence school development are addressed. Inclusive and preventive practices are promoted, in line with the school’s policies.
Psychopedagogical work is understood as a collaborative and interdisciplinary effort, carried out in coordination with the pedagogical leadership team, teachers, families, and external professionals, with the aim of fostering each student’s wellbeing.
We support each student’s development through a holistic approach.
Students receive guidance and support in both learning challenges and the emotional and relational aspects that impact their overall development.
Support is provided through individual and group work, identifying needs and creating the necessary strategies and scaffolding to facilitate and enhance learning, while taking into account different learning styles, strengths, and areas for support.
Through structured and ongoing spaces, we intentionally foster the development of social-emotional skills, providing students with tools to recognize and manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, make responsible decisions, and face the challenges of growing up with confidence and assertiveness.
We support learning processes by collaborating in the planning of diverse pedagogical strategies that respect and respond to different learning styles. We also provide training and resources to the teaching team to support effective classroom management.
We create spaces for listening, exchange, and collaboration. Families and the school work as a team, aligning perspectives and communication, and defining actions that support and enhance each student’s holistic development.
