IB World School
St. Brendan’s School has been part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) since its beginnings. We are the only school in the country authorized by the IB to offer all four programmes. The IB continuum enables our students to engage in a meaningful learning journey, from their first years through to graduation.

Our Admissions Department (admisiones@stbrendan.edu.uy) will contact you to schedule an information interview.
If you decide to continue with the application, you will receive the necessary administrative steps to reserve a place. Application period opens: May (siblings of current students); June–July (new families).
The admissions process begins, including the required entry interviews to confirm placement.

¿Qué es el programa IB?
El IB (Bachillerato Internacional) es un marco educativo reconocido mundialmente que promueve una formación integral: académica, personal y social. Se centra en el pensamiento crítico, la indagación, la comunicación efectiva y una mentalidad internacional, con énfasis en valores, bienestar y aprendizaje significativo. En St. Brendan’s School trabajamos con este enfoque para que los estudiantes desarrollen habilidades sólidas para la vida, la universidad y el mundo actual.
¿Desde qué edad aceptan estudiantes?
Aceptamos estudiantes desde Nivel Inicial. La edad exacta de ingreso puede variar según el nivel y el año lectivo, por eso recomendamos contactarnos para confirmar el grupo correspondiente y disponibilidad de cupos. Nuestro equipo acompaña a cada familia para ubicar al estudiante en el nivel adecuado, considerando edad, trayectoria escolar y etapa de desarrollo.
¿Cómo es el proceso de admisión?
El proceso de admisión está diseñado para conocer a cada familia y acompañarla paso a paso:
Contacto inicial / Consulta
Completan el por el formulario web.
Entrevista con la familia
Coordinamos una instancia para conocer al estudiante, expectativas y responder dudas.
Evaluación o instancia de diagnóstico (si corresponde)
Según el nivel, puede incluir una evaluación académica y/o entrevista pedagógica.
Documentación
Se solicita la documentación necesaria (escolaridad, certificados, etc.).
Confirmación de cupo e inscripción
Una vez finalizadas las instancias, se confirma la admisión y se completa la inscripción.
Importante: Los cupos son limitados y se asignan según disponibilidad por nivel.
